Hey group can you help me with this...
I am studying for my BSCN. This is the lab that I have at work. The physical connections cannot be changed, the config on the frame switch maybe can be changed if I can convince my boss.
routerA -----------\ /----------------- routerC \ / FRAME SWITCH / \ routerB ----------/ \----------------- routerD | |----------routerE My problem is when I implement ospf, each router thinks that it is in its own area. I have connectivity across the frame switch, I can ping each address, but sh ip ospf neighbors shows nothing, and sh ip ospf int shows that there are no adjancies. Is there a way of making them recognize that they are all in the same area and elect a dr? What about when I want to work on a multiple area network? If the frame switch
config needs
to be changed what needs to be done, so I can pitch it to my boss. thanks, Mike Canfield, CCNA, CCDA |
