Well, I believe you dont use subnetting enough
then if you think a calculator is needed. Once in the industry you will live by
it and you should be able to do it in your head for the most part. Even VLSM
which is just the subnetting of subnets. Forget calcs its not that difficult.

it this morning and passed with a 759, not awful for doing it in 10
days. There was one subnetting question about # of host, no big deal,
and there was some on vlsm and summarization, but very easy questions on
it. now about that bottom line you wrote.....i can think of nothing
worse than live to subnet, : ), thats what calculators are
for
