Hi..

I am trying to make a connection to a remote server ( WAN link) from my
LAN. The remote end has made configuration to allow my desktop to do a
telnet to it. The setup is like this.

PC(172.18.10.1) -- PIX ( 172.18.0.1)-----Router ---WAN link---- Remote

----server ( 165.132.0.1).

The router configuration doesnot have any accesslist to deny the tcp
packets to establish a session and only ahs a defoult route for "any any"
via serial0.

Even though, I have configured a mapping for my pc to an registered IP
address on PIX , which will be allowed by the remote server, I am unable
to do a telnet. Am I missing something? I also have a conduit statement
even though that is not necessary.

any comments, welcome.

Thanks
Dinesh
