I will also be taking the BSCN on December 20th.

As for if there are "fill in the blank" or "choose from the list" type
questions in the BSCN exam. They give your a list of 50-60 questions to
choose from (most of the choices are bogus) and you can quite easily
eliminate it down to 1-2 choices if you know the answer. You have to select
the correct answer from the list and type it in the line provided. You must
know if the command is used in global mode, interface mode, etc.

There is was a good archive on the list a few week ago for BSCN exam from:

Niraj,
I am studying for the BSCN and using the Colt Exams as well. I find there
are many errors in the scoring and in the questions themselves. I have been
looking up the answers in the book. To me the benefit is to see the range
of topics and detail Cisco is showing us. Perhaps a glimpse into the actual
test.

I find that in looking up the answers I am learning more than I would if the
system worked as it should.

A question for the group...
I purchased the Boson tests for the BSCN and in these tests there are many
"fill in the blank" questions where you must type in commands. Is this the
format on the actual test or are the answers there to choose from? It is
much more time consuming to study for a "recall" test than for a
"recognition" test. There are no "fill in the blank" questions in the Colt
Exams.
