Studying for the BSCN, have a question about setting router id's for OSPF .
. .
The cisco rule states that the router ID will be taken from the address of
the loopback interface. If no loopback interface is defined, it will use
the highest ip address configured on the router.
Now the question . . . will the router use only the highest ip of interfaces
participating in the OSPF area or will the router use the highest ip on any
config'd interface regardless.
