Hi Tim,

FYI....

Maybe you already know this, but anytime you make a change to the
syslog.conf file. You will need to restart or HUP the syslog daemon.

Also...I have seen Cisco documentation that you need 5 tabs between
local0.debug  (5 Tabs) /var/log/cisco.log   (not being a NMS guru - that 
may or may not be true )
