I am considering taking the Foundation 2.0 (640-509) Exam in place of
the Routing, Switching, and Remote Access Exams. It may be harder, but
I see some advantages in it. For example, the foundation exam will
allow me to complete the CCNP in a shorter period of time and better
prepare me to sit for the CCIE written. Also, I would think your strong
areas (ie routing) would help to balance out some of your weaker areas
(ie ISDN or appletalk).
Is my thinking correct? What is your experience with the Foundation 2.0
exam?
