Congratulations!

You think that's bad, take a look at the categoriation of exam topics in
the Support (CIT) exam outline here:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10/wwtraining/certprog/testing/pdf/cit.pdf

Cisco has been slowly fixing the categorization of exam topics. They have
fixed CCNA and Routing. The Switching, DCN, CID, and CIT outlines are still
awful. The Remote Access outline is the same as the Routing outline.

I can't figure out if the outlines were written by someone who doesn't have
a clue about networking or if they were output by a very badly written
computer program, or if they were output by a good program, but the test
item writer didn't use the categories correctly. When I look at the
outlines, I am reminded of the comment in the new movie with George
Clooney, where he looks at his partner and says, "Well I think that should
be done by someone with a capcity for abstract thought." Developing
outlines may require that capacity and Cisco has given the job to someone
who does not have that capacity. Sorry if that sounds negative. I've been
complaining about the outlines for about a year and they have only fixed
two of them.

Anyway, until they fix the broken outlines, just ignore them. Instead, use
the course outlines here:

http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/front.x/wwtraining/enh_learning_offers.pl

You also asked about CID. A new version of the CID test is in beta (version
4.0). The beta results are supposed to be out any day now. Cisco uses the
beta results to tweak the exam. It will probably be a couple months before
the new CID comes out. Word has it that it's a rerun of the CCNP exams and
doesn't really touch on design. There have been quite a few comments about
it. If you search the archives you'll find them.

Good luck!

Priscilla
