It was recently introduced in beta form which allowed us to collect some valuable feedback from those customers who elected to take it. Their feedback, along with additional observations we made, have resulted in changes that will make the Design Lab even more relevant to the customers it is intended to support. An announcement regarding Design Lab availability will be made by April, 2001. The Design qualification exam is also suspended as part of this review, effective February 15, 2001. Until this review is complete, candidates who have passed the CCIE Design qualification may use that exam as qualification for the Routing and Switching lab exam.
