Please do not fume at this mail. I have learnt that there are a few openings
for Network Engineers in a leading switching company, in fact the worlds
leading Web Switching company.
Job offers 100 percent Network / Switch troubleshooting. No travel.
When you cant solve the problem on the switch , you wil be required to
reproduce the problem in the lab and interact with the Engineering/ QA to
fix the bug.This is 5-10 percent of the job.
Even if you have not one industry cert, I can get you an interview if you
are " Switching/Routing Basic James Bond "

These are open positions in San Jose,California.If you are located in other
states / countries, they even pay the travel cost for the interview and a
week stay in a hotel + car.
They have Field Support engineer positions open in East Coast.For this they
dont need a guy who can crack problems , but who can handle a mix of
cracking problems and go to customer sites in the local area at times. work
from home option is open for this.
Here is the bad news...
A few CCIE ( W ) / CCNP candidates came up for interviews and made a very
poor show of themselves by not been able to answer simple questions.
they had their certs flashing but could not tell what a BPDU was.
If you are a H1-B holder, they will sponsor the visa.If you are a non-H1 B
holder, they will apply for a visa.
If you are keen, mail me DIRECT with subject heading " Resume " and I will
have the HR Manager give you a call.BTW, the HR manager is a old techie of
his times, so if he asks a few basic questions which you cant answer, dont
mind, he will forward the resume to the Technical Manager.the Technical
Manager will delegate one of his " boys " for a tel interview and then you
will be called up to face a panel.
Salary - sky is the limit if you can blow the panels brain out, else you
will have the Tech Manager " bargaining" with you for your worth.
If I can help some one with this info , I should feel happy , for he/she
wouldnt have to go thro a chain of " Recruiters".
