I'm sorry- is it a possibility for this to be happening or is it possible to
implement ???  I'm not a satellite person (maybe we have some military
people on the list), but what are the specs  ???  How is this network setup-
say based on the typical Telco connection...  where's the switch (are both
devices set DTE) or is this literal Point to Point ???  How far is does the
router think it's next hop is (could this be updates timing out) ???  Is it
possible this is NTP related.  I hear left to their own devices, Cisco
routers keep terrible time.

Please don't hesitate to share your trouble shooting process with us
