How do I configure reverse telnet??  Just kidding...

We have a very minor problem that I haven't figured out how to resolve
completely.  We have a 2511 and we're using two of its async lines for
reverse telnet into the console ports of two routers.  The problem I
have is that often I get a 'connection refused' message.  I'll clear the
line at least three or four times and then RT works successfully.  After
I disconnect, if I wait too long it will refuse any new connections
until I clear the line several times again.  

'show users' shows the line as in use but idle.  I have to keep
clearing it until the line doesn't show up and then I can RT to the
other router.  Do any of you know the cause of this and how I might be
able to fix it?  It's not a big deal, just a little annoying.
