Make sure you scrutinize Cisco's SEs before purchasing this box. There are several issues with it. First, the backplane off each module (whether 10/100, Gigabit, OC-3/12/48) does not exceed STS-12. Second, cannot have the same vlan across two ports on the same Gig module- which I wanted to do for SmartBits testing. Third, there is a proprietary EPOS. Therefore, if traversing anything ethernet over POS it can only be read by another ONS device when converting back to ethernet. Two pluses, however, the gui management interface is excellent and the 10/100 card works great- making this one expensive hub :-).
