Page 1:
Token ring is a physical ring and logical bus - it's a physical star and a
logical ring.
Page 5:
A value of "A" for length means 3 bridges. "A" would mean 5 bridge/ring
combos.
After reading those 2 very basic things I quit reading and went back to my
books/Cisco site.

Are you kiddin? I read that thing twice as my sole source of Token Ring and
RIF study and got a 90% on that section of the CCIE Written. What did you
find that was in error?

That thing is so full of errors it's not even funny. If you study that paper
you will surely fail any token questions.

my recommendation again for the token ring stuff -  only one document to
understand the RIFs (even though there are other good ones) -  Token Ring
white paper from Lou Rossi.  Here is the link where you can find the white
