I've owned an AccessPro "EC model" for almost two years now and it hasn't
given me a moments problem. Other than the fact that it has only
one serial port, it's functionally equivalent to a 2501 router.
I believe the last IOS version that's officially supported the AccessPro's
is 113.11a. I've ran 11.3-11a Enterprise, and I'm currently running
120-8 Enterprise and haven't experienced any problems. I have loaded
up to 120-16 Enterprise on it and although it experienced slowness
when initially booting, once it booted up, everything ran fine.
To clarify this, I've experienced the same slowness while booting
with anything above 120-8 Enterprise on my 2501, 2503 and 2521 also.
I have not successfully gotten any 12.1 images to load on my AccessPro.
If you're budgetarily constrained, as I was when I initially purchased mines,
it's a great buy, especially if your're the type who prefers real hardware
to configure and learn on at your leisure, vice simulation software or
vitual rack time.

As you can see, it's upgradable to the latest boot roms, and you can add
up to 16 megs of DRAM and Flash.
