Sounds like #line con 0 has "no exec" & maybe not the intended "no exec
time-out."  Reboot the router & get it into "confreg 0x2142" (regular boot
mode with no NVRAM access) or "o/r0x41" (boot mode version).  You will be
dropped @ the setup mode & can go from there.
