Kent,
You seem to be quite an authority on Jeff and his work habits. There
are many reasons for taking on a coauthor, and they often have to do
with producing better quality, not "could not finish by himself."
You also don't know his responsibilities at Juniper and how he split
his time among the books. Or have I missed the many books you have
written to make you an authority on the subject of authors' time
management and personal motivation?
Most reviewers write their reviews after the book has been out; some
even read them. In this case, were I Jeff, I would be tempted to
quote Max Reger: "I am sitting in the smallest room in the house. I
have your review in front of me.
Soon it will be behind me."
I feel better. Jeff is a respected colleague and doesn't deserve
cheap shots. The smiley doesn't help.
