Hi
I am connecting to my winNT 4.0 Server VPN(I only need
one connection for now) via pptp from a laptop on the
LAN. The connection and authentication happens okay. I
can tell that the laptop is assigned the correct IP
and can ping through the connection. However, after
about 20 seconds the connection drops.

It seems to me the server is trying to reassign an IP
address but nor succeeding. According to the IPCP
protocol the laptop is accepting the IP assignment but
the server doesn't appear to accept the
acknowledgement(or else it would stop sending
requests)?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
