Hi Syed,
(Hrmmm have we talked before?)
These debugs are very cryptic! IP assignment occurrs in LCP, in cases where
a server attempts to re-assign IP addresses it's done by confNAK-ing the
clients confREQ and the server supplies the IP address it wants the client
to use (within the confNAK). In cases where neither of them can agree on an
IP address, they stay in LCP and the client would not receive an IP address
or be able to ping.
It looks like problems are occurring when PPP tries to negiotate another
NCP, called "CCP" since this device is sending confREJ's and not confNAK's
this "CCP" NCP is unrecognized/unsupported by this device. This NCP *may* be
required by the peer device to maintain the PPP session, or the peer device
may be 'unintentially' terminating the whole PPP session due to one failing
NCP.
Hope this helps!
