Hi,I am trying to configure 2 routers to use HSRP in a BGP environment.
Basically, I am following the sample on Cisco's web site for BGP
technical tips: "How to Use HSRP to Provide Redundancy in a Multihomed
BGP Network". I configed RTE ok. When I try to configure RTF, I get the
following error msg.RTF(config-if)#standby 1 priority 100
Standby: Interface hardware cannot support multiple groups.
RTF(config-if)#standby 1 ip 192.168.21.10
Standby: Interface hardware cannot support multiple groups.
RTF(config-if)#standby 1 preemp
Standby: Interface hardware cannot support multiple groups. The 2 routers
are connected via Ethernet to a Cisco 1912 switch. These 2 routers are
also connected to 2 other routers via their serials... Is there something
wrong with this config. Please help.Kind regards.
