There is no comparision. The MCSE is utilized for Operating System problems/engineering, while a CCNA/CCNP is there to take care of the networking infrastructure. For every 100-500 workstations you may only have one router. Therefore if you are at end user site the MCSE will go a far way. While if you at a service provider a CCNA/CCNP will be more important, but then again I am assuming that it is a Cisco shop vice one of the other vendors.
The bottom line is to keep studying, a cert is like a car, you have to up keep the darn thing. Learn LINUX, SOLARIS, AIX, WINDOWS XP, JUNIPER, learn them all. Don't do it for the money, do it because you like the technology so no matter what you will not be chasing the imaginary pot of gold. The is no end to the certification rainbow. stanford Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=23496&t=23471 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
