Sorry for late reply. My Linux gone down in the previous two days so I am disconnected from mail. The token ring display in my box is the actual one. After re-plugging my token ring and removing my sound card I'm back with the token ring lan. However, I do have connected with the old config but with the MTU displayed as 1500, while all the router interfaces use 4464. Does this matter in the ping action? As I know, the MTU setting will only be matter in segmentation. Does I miss something?
