I will try CSPFA in one to two weeks. I attended CSPFF + CSPFA (2 + 3 days) three months ago (older course version). After, I will try MCNS using the Cisco course material (a partner attended the course last month).

For other exams say CSPFA, you will find 4 chapters in MCNS which is relevant, So if you pass MCNS you can pass CSPFA. But I would suggest go for Pix exam first, then MCNS, VPN and last IDS. But overall studying Michael Wenstrom once will help you lot to pass.
