I'm going to make an informed guess here. Cisco serial interface 
cards generally are designed for 8 Mbps total throughput, so I would 
not expect to be able to use more than 4 E1's, and possibly three. 
You will also need to look at the CPU load of MLPPP, which is not 
trivial.

If you need more than that in your bundle -- which is a theoretical, 
not a practical limit, consider using a separate MLPPP box, which may 
be advertised as an intelligent CSU/DSU with Fast Ethernet or E3/DS3 
output.
