Could someone suggest a switch that would be good for a home lab. I cant find a cat 5k (that I can afford) but might be able to get a 2901 or 2924. Do either of those fit the bill? I have found lots in the archives about routers for the home lab but not about which switches are needed. Also would one or 2 switches be enough? It has also been suggested that I buy a 3900 token ring switch--any ideas on this?
