Hi all, I am having and strange (at least for me) behavior over here. I have an ATM interface working perfectly. Using the this configuration:
interface ATM5/0/0 no ip address no ip route-cache distributed atm scrambling cell-payload atm uni-version 3.1 no atm ilmi-keepalive Using the above configuration I receive a round-trip time of 40 ms againts the peers that I am connected to. However, when I remove the line "no ip route-cache distributed" the round-trip time increses to 300ms!. I have cleared the cef table but the behavior is the same. I am running Cisco IOS 12.2(6) on 7507. Any ideas? Thanks.
