I bought a 1924 switch secondhand and it has an old 9 pin male console port. I was told I would need a null modem cable so I bought one. Then I went into HyperTerminal with the settings 9600/8/1/N and all I see on the screen are weird Hayes modem strings "ATQ0Z0 & ATQ0H00" can anyone please help me to correct this problem.
