Have you tried restoring the switch to it's default settings? go to this link http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/474/pswdrec_2800.shtml
When you go thru the Password recovery procedures, the switch will default to 9600,8N1 I believe also, their may be a little reset button on the back of the switch next to the console port that has a reset button to reset the port to 9600,8N1. You could try that as well to make sure. Hope that helps.
