My understanding is: 1. With passive-interface, we will not see hello packet and will not see neighbor relation form. 2. With "ip ospf database-filter all out", you should be able to see hello packets. And should be able to see ospf 'two-way'neighbor relation, but no 'full' neighbor relation, due to no able to change LSA packets. But just don't know what this used for? This is what I guess, need to verify. Welcome any comment.
