I've done a bit of reading and it seems that they are half duplex when configured as a daisy-chained stack, but autonegotiate to full duplex when used for example in a star configuration (at either 1Gb or 2Gb (one cable or two)). (I know they are full duplex in this configuration - tried it)
But... I still can't find the answer to the original question. I think tomorrow I will have the bits available to try it out. Only got two Gigastack modules at the moment, so can't try it.
