I understand what you are saying, but your comments are simplistic. There are a lot of people out there with considerable experience and skill that are not good test takers (a good friend of mine is one of them). People that are not native English speakers can also have problems with these exams. Many of the certification exams test your ability to memorize command syntax (that in real life you'd use the "?" for), have trick questions, or flat out have poor wording. To think that these exams are an accurate reflection of ability is tough to believe.
