Hi friends, one of the question in an interview which I cudnt ans, i am just putting it across for your advise.
There are 2 Domains a. x.domain1.com - DNS server (10.10.1.100)- one of the host ip is 10.10.1.1 (name: uranes.domain1.com) holds Ip address segment seperated by say 10.10.1.0/24 b. y.domain2.com - DNS server (10.10.1.100) - one of the host ip is 10.10.1.1 (name: pluto.domain2.com) holds Ip address segment seperated by 10.10.1.0/24 as well both are two physical segments seperated by a router.. The question asked was, how to resolve name uranes.domain1.com towards pluto.domain2.com I guess it can be done via NAT, but i couldnt ans the procedure of that. any expert ideas please...
