Hi.. i am facing this problem that i am not able to figure out what's causing it.
from the central 2600 series there is another 2600 router and from this one the branch office connected by an 805 router. let me call these locations as A, B and C respectively. The speeds of the links connecting from A---B is 64 K and from B---C it is 14K. C has only 2 clients. it looks like this.. NT Srvr -----A ----------B------------C ---win 98 Clnt. Now the problems: 1. Client cannot connect to server (does not logon everytime log's on very intermittenly) i can ping server.. I have defined helper-address . 2. From router A i can't ping serial interface of B(connecting to C) and Serial interface of C but can ping C's Ethernet interface, and All the clients connected there. 3.from C router, when i telnet to Rtr B or A and give a Sh run the screen freezes... no response.. but the same when done from RTR A and RTR B i get response no Delay in this.. Any suggestions would be more than welcome.
