Maurice, BGP defaults to using only the BEST path, hence ONE. Check CCO for path determination in BGP. The other protocols default to maximum of four, but can be extended to 6 with "maximum-paths". To turn on "load-balancing" in BGP, a few steps are needed: 1. enable eBGP multihop 2. use "update-source loopback" 3. enter the static routes to be used for load-balancing
