OK, let's compare the 2; c2500-jos56i-l.121-6.bin , ENTERPRISE/FW PLUS IPSEC 56, 16,117,576 c2500-js-l.121-7b.bin , ENTERPRISE PLUS, 14,493,112
And the amount of memory (providing you have maxed out your 2501); 16384K/2048K bytes of memory 16384K bytes of processor board System flash Now that that's done, did you DELETE the first IOS before you tried to load the second (you can have more than one IOS in memory)? If you didn't (which I suspect) there's your problem (the IOS that's on there is 14MB (16 Megs FLASH) only ~2MB left, not gonna happen!! Try (erase flash) and try again :-) Steve -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Justin M. Clark Sent: Sunday, May 26, 2002 7:56 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: IOS Install Problems [7:45102] I have a 2501 purchased from Ebay with c2500-js-l.122-7b.bin installed on it. Just for standards I wish for all my routers to have the same IOS on it. I have been trying to load c2500-jos56i-l.121-6.bin on it. I have tried to install it from 2 different TFTP servers and FTP and none of them will work. Cisco TFTP says "State Error" and solar winds TFTP says connection reset by remote peer. It looks like it copies a little chunk of it then kicks back those errors. 2-3 exclamations is all I get on the router. I have not problem copying the IOS off of the router, but can't seem to get one on it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
