did you remember to do a shut/no shut on the physical ATM interface after you made the change?
also, idle curiousity - how many T1's are you inverse multiplexing? Was the circuit ever working? I ask because sometimes when you have a single ATM T1, the telcos do not terminate it to an IMA port, and IMA will not work.
