Tried that!

I _think_ the problem only showed up when I put the Enterprise IOS on my
2912-XL-A switch, although I might be wrong.

Infact, I'll blow the old IOS on and see if the problem goes away

Try wiping out out the old config and start with a new. Also I work with
a lot of 2912s and 2924s and for some reason we've replaced several
2912s after years of service due to bad ports.
