Nope it is still there. There is a later revision IOS for free on CCO, I'm about to try that now.
Nope, it didn't work either, I guess my switch is slightly buggered. 8 ports are enough for labs etc anyway, and it's too damn loud to run as an everyday switch in my front room :) Symon -----Original Message----- From: Symon Thurlow Sent: 25 September 2002 22:44 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: 2912 faulty ports [7:54109] Tried that! I _think_ the problem only showed up when I put the Enterprise IOS on my 2912-XL-A switch, although I might be wrong. Infact, I'll blow the old IOS on and see if the problem goes away Cheers, Symon -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 25 September 2002 21:44 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: 2912 faulty ports [7:54109] Try wiping out out the old config and start with a new. Also I work with a lot of 2912s and 2924s and for some reason we've replaced several 2912s after years of service due to bad ports. Let me know if it works : ) ""Symon Thurlow"" wrote in message [EMAIL PROTECTED]">news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]... > Hi all, > > I have a 2912 that I have put enterprise IOS on.
