After further investigation, I believe I have found the answer. However, I would like to run it by you all. The routers in question did not have the command redistribut static configured on them. If I understand the meaning of this command, it is used to inject the static routes configured on a router for redistribution into the routing protocol in question; in this case EIGRP. Sound right?
