I have been using VWIC-1MFT's and VWIC-2MFT's to connect in a data mode to WIC-1DSUs using a cross over T1 cable. When you do this, it is imperative to add the 'speed 64' portion of the channel-group if that is the base speed of the DS0. I am finding that in general, if I want something to work I shouldn't trust default settings.... :)
