You will need at least one 2620/21 with a Fastethernet port for ISL/.1Q
trunking. The 2500's can do anything a 2600 can besides voice and ATM, but
you can also use a MC3810 for voice which looks like a 2500 (With 16F/64D
you can get a MC3810 image that does VOIP instead of only L2 ie VOFR)
A 2520 as a frame-relay switch in place of a 2600 with a 4 port serial
module will be a quarter of the price. I would really recommend a ISDN
simulator. It is easy to memorize the various ways of configuring ISDN but
one must have the behaviour of certain protocols in mind ie DLSW etc over
ISDN and how back ups would behave. Honestly, unless you are loaded the
2500's suffice. It is more a question of memory and images than series in
this case.
