Hi, I do not know about switching, but for routing, use "Building Scalable Cisco Networks" from Cisco Press. Also download the IS-IS chapter at cisco web site (search for the free chapter there).
Also, buy a set of practice tests.... you need a lot of practice tests so that the various routing concepts can "stick in" - this is in case you want to do the exam as soon as possible. Good Luck.
