oh yes another point, ppp authentication chap CALLIN when the key word is used the router will generate a challange only for callin ppp sessions, and not for outgoing, so you might wana flip that around since the 3640 will be calling the 1706, or you might wana keep it, in which case you might wana make the 1706 dial the 3640. it's optimal use depends on the data flow I THINK. but you might wana remove it all together.
