ahmed, thank you for your feedback. My msfc is the 12.1(6)E1 version, anyway you'll find below the "show version" on the L3 routing engine of my 6509. I'he searched in the Cisco bug tool at:
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/launch_bugtool.pl but I've not found any reference to any trunk flapping bug for the 12.1(6)E1 version.
