I was told that there was a telnet security hole in Cisco's IOS. I was told there was a way where you could specify a level to telnet into and doing so could over ride passwords set on the VTY term. Does any one know if this is true? Second has it been patched in IOS 12.x? and lastly how is this attack performed ????
