You also get the subnet that the address is on. In this case, the subnet is 199.66.15.225 - 199.66.15.254 with a broadcast of 199.66.15.255.
Hope this helps. I came across this router which had an ip address of 199.66.15.252/27 I wonder how that is possible because it doesn't seem a legal address. With a subnet mask of 27, you get 6 subnets as follows: 32-64 64-96 96-128 128-160 160-192 192-224 Thx, Sam Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=65612&t=65597 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
