ling/

I think Terrell misunderstands a number of things (particularly the fact
that a lot of the traffic that used to be on this list has moved to
http://smf.citizendium.org/), but I think he does make one good and
completely undeniable point, namely, list traffic on Citizendium-L has gone
"thud"!

I think this is only partly because I reduced the number of messages per day
to eight. It is also, obviously, because a much more instantly-responsive
forum became available (at the same time)--you'll notice that just when the
Citizendium-L curve dropped off, the CZ Forums curve spiked upward. But
it's also because I haven't been responding to people...just because I've
got so *&[EMAIL PROTECTED] much stuff to do! I mean no disrespect. I want you
to feel
free to talk...I'll read and input before **too** long, and really good
posts always float up front and center anyway.

So!

I leave it to you listmembers. Do you want to revert to the old list
moderation policy? I will leave the decision in the hands of Citizendium-L
moderator Phil Wardle (if you don't mind, there, Phil :-) ) who you can
reach at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

But can you please give some thought to the question of how to distinguish
the functions of Citizendium-L vs. the CZ Forums.

Thanks

--Larry
