Upon a fairly close check, the differences between your version and the potentially vandalized one on WP are only, that  WP has:

1) The addition of some words to the lede, which do not improve it
2) A different formulation of the inner components of a k-tuple, changing your  use of the question mark to indicate them
3) The expansion of the "types of signs" section, in a way that does not seem totally dissimilar to the rest of the text.

If all the WP articles were this close, (and were this good to start with), the editing would not be as difficult as it undoubtedly will be.

Fine for now, but you do need to make a visible link back to both the
articles on Wikinfo and Wikipedia to satisfy GFDL. That notice is
expected at the very bottom of the page.
