-IMMEDIATE NEED A CONSULTANT- Job Title: SQL SSIS Developer with ETL experience Location: Wilmington, DE (Local or Nearby) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Interview: Inperson ****Consultant must be willing to come for an onsite interview**** 3-5 Years with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 RDBMS SQL SSIS, T-SQL Relational Database analysis & Design Basic knowledge of Windows/Intel Environment MCDBA Certification not required but a plus The SQL Server Developer must have better than average analytical skills and will also need to have some experience moving large data sets thru SSIS. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. • Develop a new databases based on specifications provided by our Actuarial Finance team. • Develop SSIS packages to edit, load and alert participants of success or failure of jobs. • Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of database programs (i.e, SQL, etc) • Share knowledge by effectively documenting work • Respond quickly and effectively to production & development issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution. • Design & implement data models and database designs into physical databases. • Develop database procedures, triggers and SQL scripts for development teams. • Maintain database changes from Development, QA to Production. • Monitor databases for errors and perform problem determination when necessary. • Design and implement highly available production systems. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline; or equivalent professional experience. • Experience in creating and managing all database objects (tables, views, etc.). • Experience writing complex SQL, triggers, and procedures. • Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also able to work in team environment. • Relational database analysis and modeling experience. • Experience in fast paced production or operational system arena. • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. • Hands on and ownership personality. Requirements: • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Working knowledge of database design focused on large databases, supporting corporate financial data warehouse/data marts. Proficiency with SQL Server SSIS • Basic knowledge Windows/Intel environment • Ability to test deliverable products for verification of stated objectives • MCDBA Certification a plus but not required.
