This role will perform the following Primary Duties at the various levels. 1. Perform operating system installations and upgrades in accordance with established standards. 2. Provide server administration functions for specifically assigned servers across the assigned Region. 3. Monitor backup logs for each assigned server on a daily basis and take appropriate actions to ensure data integrity. 4. Provide system performance monitoring and assist in problem resolution and capacity planning. 5. Work with all appropriate internal and external resources to provide timely resolution of issues. 6. Ensure adherence to established Standards, Policies, and Procedures. 7. Acquire relevant knowledge to improve service delivery. 8. Communicate technical knowledge appropriately with both technical and non-technical audiences within Providence. 9. Provide clear, concise and complete communications for operational changes and problem notification, escalation and resolution. 10. Participate in a 7x24x365 on-call and on-site rotation, and be available to work outside normal business hours as needed.
